Senior Software Engineer – Remote

Location: Fully Remote

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to contribute to cutting-edge AI training projects by solving complex software engineering challenges. In this role, you’ll use your technical expertise to create high-quality coding environments that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems.

No previous AI experience is required. Your software engineering knowledge and practical development experience are what matter most.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop coding environments that simulate real-world software engineering tasks.
• Create high-quality reference solutions for debugging, feature development, code refactoring, and performance optimization.
• Analyze and resolve complex software defects across different programming languages.
• Implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient software features.
• Refactor existing codebases to improve readability, reliability, and performance.
• Document technical decisions, solution approaches, and best practices.
• Review technical submissions and provide feedback to maintain high-quality project standards.
• Collaborate remotely with distributed engineering teams while meeting project milestones.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in software engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • Python
  • Java
  • Rust
  • Go
  • C++
  • TypeScript
• Excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Proven experience debugging, optimizing, and maintaining complex applications.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modernizing or refactoring large-scale software projects.
• Track record of delivering production-ready features throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with software architecture, performance optimization, and code quality best practices.
• Experience reviewing code and mentoring other developers.
• Interest in AI technologies and machine learning projects is a plus, although prior AI experience is not required.
